Reentry Facility Visits

Rehabilitation and Reentry visits are one-hour non-contact visits unless the person qualifies for the distinct family-contact visit process. Visitors must be on the approved visitor list, and the incarcerated person must submit the visitor clearance information. Visitor lists may be updated once every 30 days, and background checks can take up to five days.

The family-contact visit rule is one of this facility's most important differences. Reentry Facility Transfers

The Rehabilitation and Reentry Facility is not the county's main booking intake. The Main Jail remains the central booking and jail reception facility for Santa Cruz County. A person may be booked into the Main Jail, appear in the Web Jail Viewer, and later move to Rehabilitation and Reentry after classification. That classification step can consider security level, sentence status, program suitability, medical needs, separation needs, and housing space.

Reentry Facility Details
